What Are The 15 Superfoods In MealBetix and why are they so super? I’m asked this question every once in a while, so I want to finally answer this precisely, because we see the word superfoods used a lot these days.
First, what is a superfood?
A superfood is a marketing term for food claimed to confer health benefits resulting from an exceptional nutrient density.
This means that any food can be a superfood if it is claimed to confer health benefits resulting from an exceptional nutrient density. Some sites will go as far as create a list if ‘superfoods’, because they think those specific foods can claim to confer health benefits resulting from an exceptional nutrient density.
But there is a big problem with that –what if the foods they claim to be super, are raised with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, artificial fertilizers and of course GMOs? Can you still call them superfoods or are they really super contaminated foods?
I think they would be the latter and they should know that, but they don’t want to scare away readers who couldn’t care less about organic food, so they are keen to remove any mention of the word organic either directly or indirectly, which is dangerous, because then someone impressionable could read that and think they can buy those ‘superfoods’ and achieve better health, but end up feeling worse, like billions do every day from eating contaminated food daily.
So what’s my point?
My point is that a superfood is not a superfood because someone says it is, but only because it was grown in 100% organic soil that makes it a superfood.
For example, all 15 superfoods in MealBetix are superfoods because all were grown in the cleanest soil on earth, which undoubtedly makes them all exceptionally healthy, and not because they are part of some superfood list that someone decided somewhere.
I would rather eat a common tomato that happened to be grown in the cleanest soil on earth than eat any ‘superfood’ saturated with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, artificial fertilizers and GMOs, wouldn’t you?
This is a real problem that no one addresses, because then they would lose lots of readers who again don’t care about eating organic. But I am not afraid to talk about organic food and I am not afraid to lose readers, either, but what I am afraid of is how many of us are eating and drinking poison every day and don’t realize it.
I wish everyone could see just how toxic everything is, including those foods most of us assume are ‘healthy’.
This is why I had to grow 15 powerfully healthy plants in the last little bit of soil left that can still sustain a healthy body. And that’s how The MealBetix Lifestyle was created, from these extremely healthy plants.
So what are all the plants in MealBetix?
