A Holistic Diet is unlike any other diet out there, because it’s really not a diet at all, it’s a lifestyle. You see, diets are designed to take you out of your comfort zone temporarily and then once you reach your diet goals, you can revert back to your regular lifestyle, whatever that may be.
But when it comes to the Holistic Diet, instead of it being temporary, it’s permanent –and this is what makes the Holistic Diet very powerful.
And when you think about it, if you’re going to do something that dramatically improves your health, wouldn’t you want to do it permanently?
It would be crazy to stop doing what gets you healthy and keeps you healthy. That’s why a Holistic Diet is not actually a diet at all, but a new lifestyle that is designed to energize and rejuvenate every cell in your body.
Sometimes people ask me how long they should eat holistically, as if it’s some fad diet, and I always answer, “for as long as you want to live longer and stronger”.
Now, you might be saying to yourself that all diets are supposed to energize and rejuvenate your body, and yes, they are, but how energizing and how rejuvenating can any diet be when the meals you are told to eat every day, suggests foods and drinks that are contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, toxic fertilizer and GMOs?
No wonder diets fail!
And if you buy anything off a store shelf, you can rest assured it has been cooked and processed until there’s not nutrition left, otherwise it wouldn’t last 3 days on the shelf before spoiling.
And can you imagine what your heart, your liver, your kidneys and your lungs have to go through when you’re running or lifting heavy weights, with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, toxic fertilizer and GMOs coursing through your veins?
No wonder thousands have a heart attack or a stroke while jogging almost every day here.
That’s why exercise is only beneficial when you’re actually eating and drinking healthy every day. And the healthier you eat and drink every day, the healthier your exercise will become, which means the opposite is also true –the unhealthier you eat and drink every day, the less healthy your exercise will become.
I realize almost no one talks about exercise in this way, because they don’t want people to fear exercise and that’s understandable, but when exercising can cause a heart attack or stroke, it at least requires a small mention.
Now, if you consider yourself a healthy eater already, then you don’t have much to worry about, but if you are like many people who think no matter how much junk food they eat, they can exercise away the ‘calories’ or many who think they can drink some fake vitamin water during their workout and then eat a burger on the way home after their workout, then you are seriously risking your health, because that’s like pouring molasses down a gas tank and then revving the engine –dangerous, right?
If you’re still young, you probably won’t feel a thing, but after you reach a certain age, you begin to feel everything, every ache, every muscle strain, every headache and every heart palpitation.
And when you are not eating and drinking healthy every day, exercise will actually exacerbate whatever symptoms you have, and you will feel them all.
Since I have now thoroughly warned you about the dangers of eating and drinking unhealthy while regularly exercising, it is important you understand how vitally important the Holistic Diet is for your health.
In fact, the Holistic Diet should be started at least a few weeks before you start hard exercise, so your body has a short period to repair and rejuvenate what needs to rejuvenate, before you start pushing your body like it’s invincible.
What exactly do you eat during Holistic Diet? It’s quite simple actually –eat real food every day and keep eating real food every day.
