Most people see the once stable parts of our society, even our way of life, beginning to break down at a much faster pace than before, which is forcing most of us to think about the best survival food.
Now, every economist has their own opinion as to the cause, and any one of us can also speculate. But, we can all agree that if things keep going like they are right now, very soon we could lose access to our most basic needs, like food and water.
But how do I eat healthy when the SHTF?
I wouldn’t be surprised if you will still find junk food during times of emergency or even in the post-apocalypse. But your chances of being able to buy organic food will be a distant memory when the SHTF. Millions of people have already begun stocking up on food and water. Still, not many are stocking up on truly healthy food, which is a serious mistake, not to mention dangerous.
Why? Because protecting your home and your family while defending yourself when you are immunocompromised from eating and drinking junk every day, puts you at a serious disadvantage.
There is only one thing almost as bad as starving, and that’s trying to survive while sick, or even worse, chronically ill. Imagine attempting to battle increased physical activity, loss of sleep, constant stress and worry, and more – and all of this while attempting to subsist off of junk food.
It’s safe to say no one is coming to save us from all the toxic food sold everywhere and no one is definitely coming to save us from chronic illness. Nothing that ‘modern medicine’ has prescribed has ever prevented anything. Just look at how rapidly the chronic illness rates continue to rise here every single year.
You have to learn how to eat healthy when the SHTF, not only how to survive.
It’s already tough to get and stay healthy right now!
Do you know why after a century of consistently spraying our crops and soil with some of the most toxic insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides known to man, how our very toxic and polluted soil can still grow plants?
Because the earth has its own immune system that constantly tries to renew the contaminated soil, which is enough to still allow plants to grow, though all the plants grown in this toxic soil these days have been beyond contaminated for a long time, and most everyone eats them every day of their life!
But just like those who can live long lives eating junk food every day without ever experiencing so much as the common cold, in the end they always develop serious illness, often of the stage IV variety.
A strong immune system cannot last forever and will eventually fail, opening the floodgates of toxic accumulation to wreak havoc on your whole body –poisoning everything it touches.
Imagine how tough it will be when you lose access to even just the basic “healthier” options.
I would much rather survive as my health improves daily, not as it deteriorates. Unfortunately, deteriorating health is what will happen without access to truly healthy food. Our health is the direct result of what we eat and drink every day. This becomes much more obvious when you are in a position of having to rely on whatever foods you chose to stock up on. So it would be best if you choose the best survival food you can find.
Don’t believe the labels
An online search for organic emergency food supplies will come up with tons of links to all sorts of products. You can search and may find a few organic, gluten-free emergency food items and maybe some vegan. But none are 100% organic and raw.
Grocery stores and the internet are full of fake health food! They want you to believe the “Non-GMO” seal means it’s healthier than GMO-Food. But what about all the pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and toxic artificial fertilizers? They want to distract you from what is actually healthy by showing you what it doesn’t have.
But what about what it does have?
You’ll be doing anything but eating healthy when the SHTF with these other fake survival foods. You’ll be pumping your body full of garbage when you need pure food at the most important time of your life!
Staying (or getting) healthy when the SHTF is the last thing you want to worry about!
This is why eating healthy when the SHTF is so important.
You are only as healthy as you eat. Any health goal you have comes down to how healthy you eat and drink every day. Rather than focusing on the outside, you should focus a lot more on the inside. By doing so, you will achieve those health goals and not only survive, but thrive!
There may come a time when you have to act and move quickly—having a source of genuinely healthy meals to eat all day, right by your side, will be a true lifesaver!
