Why Do Organisms Need Food To Survive

At least once in your life you asked yourself why do organisms need food to survive, even if it was while you were daydreaming. And this might seem like a ridiculous question, but it actually brings up lots of other issues. For example, what exactly is food? And if the food isn’t healthy and nutritious, can you really call it food? Many years later I asked my siblings why they didn’t question any medical staff as to what happened and they answered, “because he died of pneumonia, so there’s nothing to ask.” It’s as if they were brainwashed into not holding MDs or hospitals accountable for killing their own family members. I mean, there’s an obvious reason why medical malpractice insurance premiums are so high –it’s because they kill us every day! And 99% are not even reported! This means millions are killed or maimed every year in this country while in hospital or out-patient and 99% of the time, no one hears about it. Imagine how sad it would be if you were killed while in hospital, but they swept under the rug what basically amounts to murder or at least manslaughter, by blaming pneumonia, or these days blamed your death on covid, just like millions before you?
